Free Talk Live vs. Diggnation!

In episode 37, Kevin and Alex claimed they wanted to be at war with another podcast. Looks like they got their wish. Bring it!

According to TV Guide, HBO has inked a long-term, multiproject deal with comedian Dane Cook — the first partnership of its kind for the cable outlet. Among the projects on the docket are a concert film, a scripted series and a special titled "I Hosted the Saturday Night Live Episode Featuring the Chronicles of Narnia Rap."

Nice.

Flash mockup of rumored full screen iPod design

I hope it's something like this... I'll definitely be buying one when it's released. I currently have the generation right before they went to all color screens. I'm happy with it, but this would be too sweet to pass up.

Wanna hear Dan Laughland get p0wned on Free Talk Live? I know you do. It was fun. Dan, dude, apparently even I learned more from economics than you did... and you're the one in college! I guess Penn & Teller were right about those places. Next time, before you send them an email, run it by me first. If I can tear you a new one on the subject (which I would've), then you know they're going to do it ten fold.

Since when does something become more expensive when more competition and freedom in the marketplace is introduced? Since when does a government monopoly make things cheaper? (The fact that it doesn't make things better due to lack of incentive isn't even an argument, and I'm sure you agree with that.) I thought you called yourself a Libertarian? You're insane.

I've also included the following segment of the show because it's damn good. Enjoy!

I've created a new website & podcast for all my DJ mixes. So, all links & posts to my mixes have been removed from this blog... this site will only be for everything but my mixes. I did this because it was the easiest way to turn my mixes into a podcast and expand into other things. Also, those mixes were kind of taking over my blog. This will keep that from happening.

Madge is back... and good lord... it was worth the wait. She's back to her dance roots- this is old-school disco meets new-agey house, and this album reminds me why I'm such a huge fan of hers. Pre-order this. Now.

Here's some new fall TV shows that I think are definitely worth checking out. There are loads of paranormal-related shows coming up this season... including Surface, Supernatural, Invasion, and Threshold, which I just love. People want their X-Files fix! CBS has "Ghost Whisperer" which I decided not to add to the list, the buzz surrounding it is just terrible.

I feel so violated... so I was reading a news story on Yahoo, and I notice something peculiar... my own screename in an advertisement on the site. I suppose they did it using some cookie or whatever, but still... yipes.

So now Microsoft won't allow you to update Windows XP unless you have a "genuine" product code. I own Windows XP since it came with my system, but I used a downloaded version with a different product key (the key that came with my system won't work with a 'real' XP install for some reason) because the only version that came with my PC is full of useless software and adware that I just don't want on my system in the first place. Oh well, looks like I won't be getting updates from Microsoft anymore...

Enter WindizUpdate which runs in Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox (or any browser for that matter), and doesn't require you to have a "genuine" product key. I think XP will be my last excursion into OS land with Microsoft. Enjoy.

Why did they feel the need to make Short Circuit 2? Perhaps an insightful review from IMDB will shed some light on the subject...

This films is good. I Think this film is very creative. and Fun. I really don't know why people hate this movie. I think this film much good as ToyStory2. God I love cool freeware. This is my new desktop.

I just finished reformatting my site! I was totally happy with how it looked before, but it needed a change... and I think this new look is a bit "cleaner."

As far as the sidebar is concerned, I've removed some stuff, and downsized the rest... I had too much going on over there on the last version of my site.

Believe it or not... even more exciting changes to come soon, so stay tuned! (Literally...)
